About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI & UX Designer with a strong understanding of design principles and user behavior in the education domain. The ideal candidate will design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms used by students, educators, and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design engaging and user-friendly interfaces for websites, learning management systems (LMS), and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Collaborate with developers, content teams, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional digital experiences.
• Ensure consistent brand identity and user experience across all digital touchpoints.
• Optimize UI/UX for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies in EdTech and e-learning platforms.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of proven experience in UI/UX design (preferably in the education / EdTech industry).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience designing for LMS, student portals, or online course platforms.
• Familiarity with user personas, journey mapping, and A/B testing.
• Understanding of SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and mobile-first design principles.
• Ability to balance creativity with practicality to deliver educational impact.
