Role Description
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. This role is based in India, and candidates must have 3–4 hours of overlap with EST working hours.
This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who enjoys working independently and taking ideas from concept to execution.
You will contribute to the design of internal platforms used by the college, including systems such as student information systems (SIS), internal dashboards, and CRM tools that support admissions, administration, and student services, while also supporting brand and marketing design needs across the organisation.
This is a startup-style environment, meaning you will wear multiple hats, from UX research and wire-framing to creating design assets, illustrations, and occasionally supporting marketing and branding teams.
We are looking for someone who can think like a product designer, execute like a visual designer, and collaborate effectively with developers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive web interfaces, dashboards, and mobile-responsive experiences for internal systems including dashboards, CRM tools, and student information system (SIS) features.
- Conduct UX research and user flow analysis to improve usability and engagement
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma
- Develop and maintain design systems and reusable components
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate design implementation
- Create illustrations, icons, and visual assets for digital platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvements in user experience and product usability
- Translate business requirements into clear and effective design solutions
- Support related teams by designing:
- Marketing landing pages
- Social media graphics
- Branding assets
- Email templates
- Presentation decks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
- Strong proficiency in Figma (required)
- Experience designing web applications, dashboards, and responsive interfaces
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS fundamentals
- Ability to create illustrations, icons, and custom visual assets
- Experience with basic animation or motion design
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills when working with developers and internal teams
- Strong understanding of:
- UX research
- User flows
- Wireframing and prototyping
- Responsive design
Experience in education technology or digital platforms is a plus.

Compensation
Annual Salary: ₹6,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 (INR)
