UI/UX Designer (Part-Time)
Mobile-First Product Design + Frontend Support
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)
In-office: Every Saturday (mandatory)
Hours: 15–20 hours/week
Compensation: Up to ₹15,000/month

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer who can elevate the product experience across web and mobile-first interfaces — while also supporting light frontend execution.
This is a builder role, not just design.
You will:
- Improve real product flows (not just mockups)
- Ship design updates quickly
- Work directly with the founder to refine both UX and product thinking
Ideal for someone who enjoys clean design, fast iteration, and product ownership.
What You’ll DoUI/UX Design (Primary)
- Audit the current product and identify UX gaps across clarity, hierarchy, and flows
- Redesign key journeys: dashboards, onboarding, pricing, forms, and core product screens
- Create wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs
- Design for mobile-first experiences (primary focus)
- Ensure consistency across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Build and maintain a simple, scalable design system
- Improve overall product feel: clean, intuitive, and high-trust (finance-grade UX)
- Work closely with the founder to simplify messaging and user journeys
Frontend / Product Support
- Implement small UI changes using React / Next.js
- Build new pages/screens from approved designs
- Connect UI components to existing APIs/endpoints
- Fix minor UI bugs and improve responsiveness
- Support basic deployment and frontend updates
What You BringMust-Have
- Strong fundamentals: layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy
- Ability to design clean, modern, professional interfaces
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent tools)
- Basic frontend capability (React / Next.js)
- Experience designing for web + mobile-first products
- Ability to improve an existing product incrementally
- Clear communication and fast iteration mindset
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with dashboards or data-heavy interfaces
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable components
- Product thinking: reducing friction, improving clarity and flow
- Understanding of responsiveness and UI performance
- Exposure to fintech / analytics / SaaS / B2B products
- Experience with mobile app UX patterns
Working Model
- 15–20 hours per week
- Mandatory in-office Saturdays (Mumbai) for planning and reviews
- Remaining work can be done remotely with clear ownership and timelines
Compensation
Up to ₹15,000/month
(based on portfolio quality, execution speed, and ownership)
