UI/UX Designer (Part-Time) — Mobile-First Web & App/Website Design with Frontend Support
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)
In-office: Every Saturday (mandatory)
Weekly hours: 15–20 hours/week
Compensation: Up to ₹15,000 / month (Part-Time; based on skill, portfolio, and output)

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on UI/UX Designer who can improve and redesign our product experience across website pages, dashboards, and mobile-first interfaces, while also supporting light frontend execution.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating clean, intuitive, and modern digital experiences across web and app-like products, and can also handle light frontend tasks to move quickly, such as building pages, connecting APIs/endpoints, and supporting minor deployment or UI fixes.
You’ll work directly with the founder to ship improvements fast and raise the overall quality of the product.
What You’ll DoUI/UX Design (Primary)
- Audit the current UI/UX and identify key issues in clarity, layout, hierarchy, trust signals, and flows
- Redesign important screens and journeys across the website, dashboards, onboarding flows, pricing pages, forms, and mobile-first product interfaces
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Design for responsive experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Help shape a mobile-first design approach for current and future product screens
- Build and maintain a simple design system including typography, spacing, buttons, forms, cards, tables, and reusable UI components
- Improve visual consistency across the platform
- Make the product feel premium, clean, and easy to understand in a finance context
- Collaborate with the founder to simplify messaging and improve the user journey
Frontend / Product Support
- Implement small UI changes directly in the codebase using React / Next.js
- Create new pages and screens based on approved designs
- Support website UI improvements and basic app/front-end development tasks
- Connect pages to existing endpoints/APIs for basic integration
- Assist with simple deployment tasks and fix minor UI bugs
- Ensure responsive behavior and UI quality across devices
What You BringMust-Have
- Strong UI/UX fundamentals: layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and usability
- Ability to design clean, modern, professional interfaces
- Good working knowledge of Figma (or similar tools)
- Basic frontend skills with React / Next.js to implement simple screens and changes
- Ability to design for websites, dashboards, and mobile-first user experiences
- Comfort working on an existing product and improving it step-by-step
- Good communication skills and ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
Nice-to-Have
- Experience designing dashboards or data-heavy interfaces
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable components
- Understanding of product thinking, friction reduction, and conversion clarity
- Basic understanding of responsiveness, performance, and UI QA
- Experience in fintech, analytics, SaaS, or B2B products
- Exposure to app design or mobile product flows
Working Model
- Part-time role: 15–20 hours per week
- In-office every Saturday in Mumbai for review, planning, and alignment
- Remaining hours can be remote, as long as timelines and deliverables are met
Compensation
- Up to ₹15,000 per month
- Final offer depends on portfolio quality, speed, ownership, and execution ability
