About The Role

Building on this foundation, we have now established ADM India Hub, our first Global Capability Center in India. The ADM India Hub is dedicated to fostering innovation across technology and business functions, including IT and finance, to support our global operations. We are seeking a User Experience / User Interface Designer to join our Digital Lab team. This position plays a vital role in creating engaging and user-centric digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of our internal and external users. The successful candidate will contribute to exploring new technologies such as Cloud, AI, and HMI to develop digital minimum viable products (MVPs) and deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and business value.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess recognized qualifications in Scientific, Engineering, Arts, Design, or Innovation disciplines, or have equivalent professional experience of 5+ years. A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing user-centric design approaches is required, along with familiarity working within Agile methodologies. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and wireframing and prototyping skills are essential. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, facilitate workshops, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Lead user research efforts to gather insights and understand user needs through interviews, surveys, and other research methods. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and team members to inform design decisions. Facilitate and participate in design workshops, liaising with users and stakeholders to develop personas, journey maps, and identify pain points. Help generate innovative solutions based on identified user challenges and produce necessary documentation to share workshop outputs.
Integrate research insights into the design process during the MVP development phase, working closely with digital and project teams following agile principles. Support product teams and business analysts by translating user needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring the delivery of user-friendly and functional interfaces. Collaborate with UI developers and product owners to create visually appealing interfaces, including high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, while maintaining design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across platforms such as mobile, web, and tablet. Observe usability during MVP testing, identifying issues and areas for improvement.
Design visually engaging interfaces, including buttons, layouts, and icons, ensuring a cohesive user experience across digital touchpoints. Maintain and update design documentation, style guides, and design systems to support ongoing development and scalability. Support usability testing and accessibility standards to ensure solutions are inclusive and meet industry best practices.
