About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team at GrowQR. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for a diverse user base. Your responsibilities will span designing intuitive mobile and web interfaces, from QR scanning experiences and real-time AI chat interactions to public profiles and dashboards for individuals, enterprises, and educational institutions. Your work will directly influence how users discover, verify, and showcase their skills and potential, fostering trust and delight across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both mobile and web design, with a focus on data visualization, AI interfaces, and user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and AI/ML teams to translate complex concepts into simple, elegant solutions. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to building a modern, trustworthy, and inclusive platform capable of serving millions of users globally.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects—particularly those involving mobile and web interfaces—is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, design systems, and auto-layout features. Experience working on QR/scanning flows, data-heavy dashboards, AI/chat interfaces, or social/profile features will be considered a significant advantage.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to present ideas confidently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required, and understanding regional languages such as Hindi can be beneficial. A passion for democratizing opportunities through intuitive technology is highly valued, along with a keen eye for visual design elements like typography, color theory, iconography, and motion design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile platforms, including dashboards, public profiles, admin portals, and QR scanning apps.
- Create user-centered flows for core features such as QR code generation/scanning, visualizing multi-dimensional Q-Scores, skill verification journeys, AI interactions, and personalized opportunity matching.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, user flows, and comprehensive design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers (React/Next.js, React Native), and AI/ML teams to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback from diverse user groups including youth, professionals, recruiters, and educational institutions to iterate and improve designs.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG), mobile responsiveness, support for dark and light modes, and optimized performance in all designs.
- Contribute to the visual identity of GrowQR by establishing a modern, trustworthy aesthetic emphasizing QR as a central element, complemented by vibrant yet professional color schemes and clear data visualizations.
- Design assets for Opportunity Studios such as signage, event apps, and onboarding kiosks, as well as marketing collateral to promote GrowQR’s offerings.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, design critiques, and help maintain and evolve the GrowQR design system to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
