About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and interface design, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and user-centric design solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences that align with our mission to support AI startups. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the visual and functional aspects of our platforms, ensuring they are accessible, efficient, and aesthetically compelling. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to advancing AI technology and startup success.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or related roles.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles and information architecture.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, UXPin, and Balsamiq.
- Experience with project management and user research methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills complemented by a business-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- BSc degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive user interfaces and experiences for our platforms, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into engaging design solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate concepts and workflows.
- Maintain consistency in design language and branding across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Assist in defining design standards and guidelines to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Participate in project planning and management to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
