About The Role
The UI/UX Designer at Tricog Health is a vital part of our product development team, responsible for creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centered design solutions that align with our strategic goals and design systems. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging interfaces. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end user experiences that are both aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in UI/UX or product design within a digital environment. Proficiency in Figma is essential, including advanced skills in component properties, variables, and prototyping functionalities. A solid foundation in user flow creation, information architecture, typography, color theory, and layout principles is required. Basic knowledge of front-end development constraints such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous to ensure designs are scalable and implementable. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional certifications. Strong communication skills are necessary to articulate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teams, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design System Adherence: Utilize and maintain the organizational Figma library, ensuring all components, styles, and variables are consistently applied across projects to uphold brand and design standards.
- Technical Documentation & Handoff: Prepare detailed design specifications for engineering teams, including documenting all interactive states, edge cases, error handling, and loading sequences to facilitate seamless implementation.
- Iterative Prototyping: Develop low to high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate functionality, gather stakeholder feedback, and conduct usability testing to refine user interactions.
- Quality Assurance (Design QA): Conduct thorough audits of developed features to ensure visual fidelity and functional accuracy align with original design specifications, reducing discrepancies during development.
- Collaborative Design Reviews: Actively participate in design critique sessions, providing constructive feedback and integrating suggestions to enhance overall product quality and user experience.
