About The Role
The role involves close partnership with senior product managers, tech leaders, and partner teams to drive customer-focused innovation impacting millions of customers around the world. You will collaborate with designers and researchers to generate innovative ideas and simplify experiences, advocating relentlessly for best-in-class customer experience (CX). Using your design expertise in user interface design, branding, interaction models, and prototypes, you will craft data-informed design solutions that enhance product usability and appeal. Your responsibilities will include generating and synthesizing diverse data sets to continuously improve products and features, ensuring they meet customer needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Work on designing solutions from early concept stages through final implementation and iterative improvements.
- Define, develop, and socialize the vision for innovative new solutions that align with business strategies and customer needs.
- Collaborate across multiple organizations to identify overlaps, streamline processes, and promote efficiencies in design and product thinking.
- Utilize data and customer insights to confidently defend and advocate for design solutions with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Promote a collaborative environment by facilitating effective communication among diverse teams across different geographies and disciplines.
- Foster a customer-obsessed design culture by sharing best practices, influencing product strategy, and advocating for user-centric solutions.
- Leverage business requirements and customer research to develop scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements that inform design decisions.
- Apply systems-level design thinking to develop scalable and sustainable design solutions that support growth and innovation.
- Create high-level and detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas to stakeholders and development teams.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industry experience designing customer-facing products, demonstrating a strong portfolio of relevant work.
- An available online portfolio showcasing your design expertise and previous projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including development managers and product leadership, to deliver impactful design solutions.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and influence decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing customer-facing retail products, understanding the nuances of retail customer journeys and interfaces.
- Proficiency in presenting and defending design work to executive leadership, demonstrating strategic thinking and business impact.
