Role Summary
DevLane is looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer Intern who is eager to design meaningful digital experiences in the Ed-Tech space. In this role, you will work closely with the product and development teams to design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our platform. Success in this position means creating designs that improve user engagement, simplify complex workflows, and enhance the overall learning experience for users. This role plays a key part in shaping the user experience of DevLane’s products and contributing to the growth of our platform.
Internship Details
- Duration: 12 Months
- First 4 Months: Unpaid Internship (performance evaluation period)
- Remaining Period: Paid Internship based on performance
- Stipend: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
- Post Internship Benefits: Opportunity for PPO (₹12 – ₹15 LPA), Letter of Recommendation (LOR), Internship Completion Certificate, and DevLane goodies
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and analyze user behavior to improve product usability.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with developers and product team members to implement user-centered design solutions.
- Improve the visual design, accessibility, and overall user experience of DevLane’s platform.
- Perform usability testing and gather feedback to refine product interfaces.
- Maintain design consistency by contributing to and following design systems and style guides.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in UI/UX design, product design, or human-centered design.
- Basic experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user journey mapping.
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Good problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio or sample projects demonstrating UI/UX design work is preferred.
