About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emerging technology startups and a keen interest in working with a diverse, global talent pool. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience across our platforms and projects. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex ideas into visually compelling and functional designs. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our products, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience that aligns with our company's innovative vision. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to contribute your expertise remotely while being part of a dynamic team committed to shaping the future of AI technology.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or a related role
- Proven portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid background in project management and user research methodologies
- Familiarity with interaction design principles and information architecture
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, UXPin, and Balsamiq
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus
- Strong analytical skills coupled with a business-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- BSc degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and translate them into engaging designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups to communicate design concepts effectively
- Maintain consistency in design language across all platforms and touchpoints
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective solutions
- Participate in team meetings and provide input during project planning and review sessions
- Assist in the development of design systems and style guides to streamline future projects
