UI/UX Design Intern – Summer Internship
GRID INSIGHT • MUMBAI/NAGPUR
Grid Insight is a technology company working on energy, data, and software products. Alongside our core products, we also work on digital products, apps, dashboards, and websites for clients. We’re a small team that likes building things quickly - with clear thinking & good design.
We’re looking for someone curious, opinionated, energetic, and not afraid to speak up. If you have a point of view on apps, websites, bad UX & good typography - you’ll definitely fit in here. This is a hands-on internship - you will work on real products, real clients, real problems.
What you’ll work on:
- UI design for mobile apps and web dashboards
- User flows, wireframes, and product thinking
- Design systems and component libraries in Figma
- Working directly with founders, developers, and product teams
- Preparing clean design files for developer handoff
You will likely work on multiple products at the same time, not just one.
You should apply if you:
- Recently graduated from design school or are in your final year
- Are curious, proactive, and want to grow fast in a dynamic environment
- Are very comfortable with Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants etc.)
- Understand design systems and structured design
- Think in flows and systems, not just pretty screens
- Have strong opinions about design
- Can take strong feedback without getting defensive
- Can explain your design decisions, not just say “it looks better”
Internship details:
- Duration: 2–3 months
- Location: Mumbai or Nagpur preferred | Open to Remote or Hybrid working model
- Stipend: Will be discussed based on experience level. There is a possibility of getting hired for a full-time role after internship
