About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Engineer to join our dynamic team at BayOne Solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing responsive, user-centric web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with hands-on experience working with HCL Commerce or similar eCommerce platforms. The UI Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces that meet both business objectives and user needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about front-end development, possess a keen eye for detail, and be committed to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front-end development with a strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Prior experience working with HCL Commerce (formerly IBM WebSphere Commerce) or comparable eCommerce platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build responsive layouts utilizing Flexbox, CSS Grid, and other modern CSS techniques.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize and enhance UI components within HCL Commerce or similar eCommerce platforms to improve user experience.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and design prototypes into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices, optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless front-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks across multiple platforms.
- Follow best practices for code quality, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to front-end development standards, and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
