About The Role
The Senior UI Developer role at Capgemini offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of digital innovation, focusing on creating modern, scalable, and high-performing user interface applications. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in frontend development with a focus on Vue.js and TypeScript, complemented by a solid understanding of modern web technologies. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in UI development is essential, with at least 4 years dedicated to Vue.js and TypeScript. Candidates should have a deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.js fundamentals such as components, reactivity, lifecycle hooks, and the Composition API. Experience with Vue ecosystem tools like Vue CLI, Vuex or Pinia, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js is highly desirable. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors such as Sass or SCSS is required, along with a proven ability to develop responsive, cross-browser compatible applications. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Vue Test Utils. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Senior UI Developer, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining sophisticated UI applications using Vue.js (both Vue 2 and Vue 3) and TypeScript. You will build reusable components and scalable frontend architectures to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. Your role involves working on both the development of new features and the enhancement of existing applications, ensuring they are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
