Role Summary:
The UI Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, consistent, and user-friendly interfaces for Pega applications. This role ensures that all UI components, layouts, and portals align with business requirements and UX principles. The UI Designer works closely with UX Designers, UI Specialists, and System Architects to deliver high-quality, implementable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and create user interfaces, screens, portals, and layouts for Pega applications.
2. Collaborate with UX Designers and System Architects to ensure UI designs are functional and aligned with workflows.
3. Apply consistent visual design standards, branding guidelines, and accessibility principles.
4. Develop interactive mockups and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
5. Participate in design reviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to refine UI solutions.
6. Maintain documentation of UI designs, style guides, and component libraries.
7. Stay updated with UI trends, tools, and best practices to enhance Pega interfaces.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong expertise in UI design, layout, visual hierarchy, and color theory.
· Familiarity with Pega UI components, portals, and sections is a plus.
· Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure).
· Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and interaction design.
· Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
· Minimum 2–4 years of experience in UI design or frontend design roles.
· Hands-on experience in designing user interfaces for enterprise or Pega applications.
· Experience working with UX Designers and developers in cross-functional teams.
