General Description:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience, managing team performance, and achieving operational goals. The AGM acts as a key leader, driving team engagement, ensuring operational efficiency, and stepping into the GM role when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Essential Functions
- 3+ years of experience in a management role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a proven track record of driving results.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with P&L management and achieving financial targets is a plus.
- Familiarity with bar operations and beverage programs is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH workflows.
- Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
