Postdoc

The Shen Lab at the Department of Chemistry, the Herbert Wertheim (UF Scripps) Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology (https://shen.scripps.ufl.edu/) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to work on exciting projects at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, and biomedical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and synthesizing novel functional materials and studying their applications in biological systems, such as biosensing, drug delivery, and tissue engineering. The candidate will work closely with the PI and collaborate with other team members to achieve the research goals. Qualifications: - Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, biomedical engineering, or a related field - Expertise in synthetic organic/inorganic chemistry, materials characterization, and/or biomedical applications - Strong publication record and excellent communication skills - Prior experience in areas such as biosensors, drug delivery, or tissue engineering is preferred - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
