Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a UEFN Generalist. The UEFN Generalist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, build, and optimize interactive content and gameplay experiences using Unreal Engine for Fortnite Creative (UEFN). Responsibilities include scripting interactive elements using Verse, troubleshooting performance issues, prototyping new mechanics, refining level design, and delivering high-quality, immersive experiences that captivate players within the platform.
The role also involves working with 3D assets, materials, and shaders to enhance visual fidelity, as well as contributing to structured worldbuilding using systems like Scene Graph where applicable.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Unreal Engine for Fortnite Creative (UEFN) and familiarity with related tools
- Strong skills in Verse scripting and implementing interactive gameplay systems
- Experience in level design, environment building, and worldbuilding
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling workflows, materials, and shader creation
- Familiarity with Scene Graph and structured scene organization (good to have)
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize for performance and user experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Keen interest in gaming, storytelling, and interactive media
- Previous experience in a game development or creative design role is a plus
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges
