Product Manager

We’re looking for a Product Owner to:

• have the overall responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and OKRs (Objective and Key results) as Product Owner of FXMM in our agile crew
• deeply understand the needs of FX Ops, FX Business and relevant other critical stakeholders, act as their voice within the Pod and prioritize epics and user stories in the backlog accordingly to achieve business goals
• be overall responsible for creating impactful change to our clients through the delivery of FX Confirmation and Settlement products, while ensuring the high quality and compliance of the product with risk and security policies
• mitigate impediments to the team’s goals, align across pods and with crew leads and act as your pod’s ambassadors towards internal stakeholders and clients
• motivate and energize pod members and contribute to their growth and well-being
• define the set of necessary competencies in the pod, in cooperation with the crew leads and chapter leads and provide regular feedback to ensure high performance

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the IB Digital Operations Stream team in Pune focusing on Settlements & Confirmations FX.

Your Expertise:
• Bring valuable client and market insights to the job, through relevant experience in FX Operations and/or broader Operations at a major financial institution
• Have sufficient level of business and regulatory awareness of critical developments in the market, so that you are able to make the right prioritization decisions for your product
• Demonstrate that you can drive forward a Product strategy (or similar) in your previous role, show us your leadership skills
• Not shy from Product Discovery, Product Delivery and Value maximization; bring the best of yourself every-day to drive our FX Settlements and Confirmation products; work with the pod, crew and stream and bring innovation to your product
• Proven record of being an effective leader through active Stakeholder Management, Effective Communication and continuously improving your art of Influencing and Negotiating, even in challenging setups
• As an individual, you display highest levels of Ownership and Accountability, drive outcomes through Collaboration and Teamwork and always inspire others with your Growth Mindset and Problem Solving
• As you will be working with stakeholders across the globe, your ability to build bridges virtually will be essential; bring those skills with you
• Must have or willing to convince us that you are able to very quickly pick up and be able to work in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team)
• Delivery of complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry, and tell us what your contribution was
• Setting outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results)
• Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels.

•Has 11-15 Years of work experience.
