Internship in Wealth Management - Mumbai

Interested in working in global investment management team within wealth management division but not sure where to start? We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Internship Program within our global investment management business.
You’ll:
• support the division by shadowing the team and assisting on specific tasks and projects
• role will involve combining financial, analytical and technical skills to contribute to the task or a project
• role might include, not limited to building complex data structures or creating algorithms that automate important financial interactions

Your team
You’ll be working in the CIO Global Investment Management within Global Wealth management division based in Mumbai, India. We manage the delivery to our client facing units of an extensive range of Investment Products for clients in Asia, working closely with our counterparts in Switzerland and other APAC locations (Taiwan, Japan, China, India, Australia) to ensure common standards and cooperation. Our role leads us to interact frequently with a wide range of internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, IT, Sales, Fund Execution, Operations, and Risk Units, as well as external stakeholders, including the asset management companies that manage the funds we offer our Clients Global Investment Management within Global Wealth Management

Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
• holds a university degree or in the final year with major in Engineering or Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Business Administration. Any Finance related professional accreditations will be an advantage
• is proficient in MS office and has affinity to work with IT tools like SQL and programming language like R & Python
• has familiarity in Securities Market and Product groups (e.g., Equity, Fixed Income, Funds, Structured products etc.) will be an added advantage
• has strong critical-thinking skills and work well as individual contributor as well as part of team
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills

Your Program
During your 6 months internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts. In your first week, you'll experience a thorough training course which focuses on professional development and the technical skills you'll need for the job. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
