Role Overview:
We are looking for a UAV Systems Lead to drive the end-to-end design, development, and integration of UAV platforms. This role will be responsible for defining system architecture, leading R&D, and ensuring successful prototype validation and product readiness for scalable deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the overall UAV system architecture (hardware + software + electronics integration)
- Lead end-to-end UAV design and development lifecycle
- Oversee R&D initiatives including airframe, avionics, propulsion, and payload systems
- Drive system integration across flight controllers, sensors, communication systems, and ground control stations
- Design and optimize battery systems and power management
- Oversee embedded systems and PDB development
- Enable BVLOS and long-range communication systems
- Validate and test prototypes ensuring performance and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot system-level issues and drive improvements
Required Skills:
- UAV systems design and integration
- PX4 or ArduPilot experience
- Battery systems and power electronics
- Embedded systems and PDB knowledge
- BVLOS and long-range communication systems
- Avionics and propulsion systems
- Prototype testing and validation
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Robotics, Electronics, or related field
Experience:
- 4 to 10 years in UAV/drone systems
