AXALON Systems is building autonomous drone platforms for industrial inspection and future defense applications. Role Description
We are seeking a hands-on UAV / Drone Systems Engineer to design, build, integrate, test,
and debug multirotor drone platforms end-to-end. This role works closely with the founder
on platform development, flight testing, and system validation.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on UAV / drone build experience
- Strong understanding of motors, props, batteries, and thrust-to-weight ratios
- Experience with ArduPilot or PX4
- Comfortable with wiring, soldering, and multimeter-based debugging
- Willingness to conduct outdoor field testing
Key Responsibilities
- Design and assemble multirotor UAV platforms (450–800 mm class)
- Motor–prop–battery selection and thrust optimization
- Integrate flight controllers, ESCs, PDBs, GPS, telemetry, and RC receivers
- Configure and tune ArduPilot / PX4 using Mission Planner or QGroundControl
- Perform ESC calibration, motor testing, and hover/flight tests
- Debug thrust, orientation, EKF, power, and EMI issues
- Analyze flight logs and iterate on tuning
- Support sensor integration such as LiDAR and cameras
Compensation
- CTC: ₹2.5–7 LPA (depending on experience)
- Opportunity to grow into a Lead Engineer role
