Job Title: UAV Software Developer
Location: Khed Shivapur, Pune
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 2–6 Years (Mid-Level)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced UAV Software Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend expertise in Python along with solid frontend development experience and exposure to AI/ML technologies. You will play a key role in building robust, high-performance applications integrated with drone systems and intelligent data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Python (Django or Flask).
Architect and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Develop dynamic and responsive frontend applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
Design and manage databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
Lead code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, embedded teams, and drone engineers.
Develop and integrate machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Implement object detection and computer vision solutions using OpenCV.
Perform data processing, analysis, and visualization using Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4–6 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
Must have drone industry experience.
Strong proficiency in Python with deep understanding of OOP concepts.
Extensive experience with Django or Flask frameworks.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend architecture.
Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Solid understanding of database design and optimization.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Strong experience in OpenCV for object detection and image processing.
Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of drones and enthusiasm for drone technologies is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication systems.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in leading small technical teams or mentoring junior developers.
