Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a UAV Engineer specializing in Fixed Wing and VTOL systems. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing UAVs for diverse applications such as surveying, agriculture, and disaster response. Day-to-day responsibilities include electrical and mechanical system integration, prototyping, flight testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine designs and performance. The engineer will contribute to improving system efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in UAV design, aerodynamics, and flight dynamics, with a focus on Fixed Wing and VTOL systems
- Skilled in system integration, assembly, and testing of electrical and mechanical components
- Experience with flight-testing protocols, sensor and control system calibration, and troubleshooting of UAV systems
- Proficiency in CAD and other design software for prototyping and manufacturing components
- Strong understanding of programming and software tools used for UAV control systems
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and standards related to UAV operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork capabilities, and attention to detail
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the development of UAVs for specialized applications, such as agriculture or disaster response, is a plus
