Role Description
A full-time opportunity for the role of Fixed-Wing UAV Design Engineer with a growing organization in the UAV and drone domain.
This opportunity is exclusively for candidates from the Aeronautical Engineering stream. Candidates with prior experience or strong subject knowledge in UAVs, aerodynamics, or related areas will be given preference.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about aerodynamics, drones, electronics, and real-world engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fixed-wing UAV airframes (wing, fuselage, control surfaces)
Perform aerodynamic analysis and sizing
Work on propulsion systems (electric / IC engines)
Integrate autopilots (PX4 / Ardupilot), sensors, GPS, and telemetry
Design power systems and wiring architecture
Work on payload integration (EO/IR, RF modules, communication systems)
Prototype, test, and improve systems based on flight data
Eligibility Criteria:
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (mandatory)
Basic understanding of UAVs / drones
Familiarity with CAD tools and aero tools (XFLR5 / CFD preferred)
Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN)
- Strong interest in hands-on engineering and prototyping
