Position Overview

At U.S. Legal Support, our data tells a story β€” and we’re looking for someone who knows how to bring that story to life.

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reporting and business intelligence solutions that help drive smarter business decisions across the organization. This role partners closely with multiple teams to transform data into clear, actionable insights β€” while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze data, processes, and reporting needs
  • Gather input and secure buy-in on reporting and data initiatives
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Synthesize data from users, clients, and leadership to identify trends and opportunities
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools
  • Develop and improve data structures, reporting models, and processes
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations that support business decisions
  • Communicate complex data findings in a simple, business-friendly way
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, including with analytics and operational teams
  • Support both short-term deliverables and long-term BI initiatives

What You Bring (This is where you really stand out)

  • πŸ‘‰ Hands-on experience with SSRS, SSIS, and SQL Server in a production environment (required)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including strong knowledge of database structures and best practices - Must Have
  • 3+ years of SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) development experience - Must Have
  • 3+ years of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience - Must Have
  • 1+ year of Tableau or PowerBI development experience - Must Have
  • Strong experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Experience working with data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Ability to document technical processes clearly and thoroughly
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills β€” able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
