Duties
Interview facility occupants and contractors to identify problems associated with Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design and requirements.,Evaluate methods of operations of the Direct Digital Control (DDC) Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) to optimize Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) operations and maintenance, and the related energy conservation benefits.,Develop projects to improve the efficiency and performance of existing Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment.,Develop Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) criteria documents (scopes of work) for design packages and studies used in facilities on the installation.,Participate in facility inspections for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) controls testing and performance verification.
Qualifications

Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience which includes the following. 1) Perform work monitoring and maintaining Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Automation Systems related to Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). 2) Perform common tasks for troubleshooting and repairing digital systems for HVAC systems. 3) Use established standard operational procedures for digital HVAC operations or procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Education
