This is powered by LH2 Media OS - An AI-powered platform that helps digital content brands scale by optimizing the entire content value chain - from identifying viral topics and trends in real time to generating story angles, research, and editorial support. We currently work with ~25 brands across different niches with ~50M monthly pageviews under management wherein each brand has been scaled 3-10x.  

Our vision is to become the largest distributed digital media company in the world. LH2 is being built by second-time founders who have scaled tech platforms with hundreds of millions of users.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Business Subject Matter Expert capable of transforming complex U.S. business developments into well-researched, opinion-driven stories. This role goes beyond reporting, requiring the ability to analyze, interpret, and provide expert perspective on major business events shaping the American market.

The position involves working on national-level business stories covering large retail and restaurant chains and industry study reports. The ideal candidate will craft compelling stories that combine data, research, and deep business insight.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how U.S. businesses operate, grow, and struggle, and can explain the why behind the story, not just the what.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write in-depth, opinion-based business stories focused on U.S. companies and industries
• Cover topics such as: Major retail & restaurant chains updates, Industry study reports and market trends & CEO interviews, statements
• Provide expert commentary and interpretation — identify business impact, strategy shifts, risks, and opportunities
• Turn data-heavy information into clear, engaging, insight-led content
• Identify story angles beyond headlines — explain business strategy, market positioning, and consumer trends
• Ensure all content is factually accurate, deeply researched, and editorially strong
• Collaborate with editorial/research teams to refine story direction

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business journalism
• Proven experience covering U.S. market businesses
• Strong understanding of: Business strategy and market dynamics, Corporate performance metrics
• Ability to write analytical, opinion-driven pieces, not just news summaries
• Excellent command of written English with strong editorial judgment
• Experience working with data sources, reports, and primary research materials
