The opportunity


As a Drug Price Transparency Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and monitoring pharmaceutical pricing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your work will involve gathering and evaluating drug pricing data, identifying discrepancies, and generating reports for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop insights and recommendations that promote transparency and affordability in the pharmaceutical industry. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to fair and ethical pricing practices while supporting industry-wide compliance efforts.

Role responsibilities

  • Research and understand guidance from governmental and other agencies to develop compliant pricing strategies.
  • Assist in developing policy and procedures for defined service areas.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual pricing deliveries by defined timelines.
  • Support ongoing process and system development, especially in times of evolving government requirements.
  • Interpret and analyze large datasets to develop analytics and solutions supporting business needs.
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc analysis, presentations, and assessment reports.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of regulations, trends and best practices in drug price transparency.


Do you have what we are looking for?


Skills & expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, accounting, finance or technology related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of data analysis, pharmacy program administration or similar role required.
  • Experience working with large data sets or proficiency with data tools such as Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of the regulations affecting pharmaceutical pricing.
  • Knowledge of state prescription drug price transparency (“DPT”) programs.


The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities.
