Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Twin Screw Operator. The Twin Screw Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining twin screw extrusion machines to ensure seamless production processes. This includes monitoring operations, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and compliance standards. The operator will also manage raw materials, maintain consistent throughput, and document production metrics to optimize machine performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Twin Screw Extrusion machines and understanding of extrusion processes
- Knowledge of raw material handling, blending, and monitoring key process parameters
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills for extrusion equipment
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes, including product testing and defect analysis
- Strong adherence to workplace safety and compliance practices
- Effective teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to adapt and address production challenges in a remote working environment
- Educational background in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
