Essential duties
· Design and deliver individualized academic instruction aligned with IEP goals
· Implement positive behavior supports, behavior intervention plans, and de-escalation strategies with fidelity
· Create a highly structured, predictable classroom environment that promotes safety and emotional regulation
· Build strong, trusting relationships with students through consistency, empathy, and clear expectations
· Collaborate daily with paraprofessionals, behavior staff, and service providers
· Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and behavioral supports
· Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and problem-solving discussions
· Model calm, professional responses during moments of student escalation
· Celebrate student growth big and small every day
