Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and adapt instruction based on individual learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and share best practices for mathematics instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in mathematics education.
- Supervise and mentor students during extracurricular activities, math clubs, and tutoring sessions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field;
- Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for the appropriate grade level or ability to obtain one.

Proven experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting, preferably at the middle or high school level.
