About the job Reporting to the RVP, ISV Sales APAC, this position is needed to manage relationships with some of our largest current Communications platform customers who consume our messaging, voice and email services. You will be directly responsible for protecting and growing Twilio’s communications business across your assigned customers in India. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will drive highly analytical and consultative sales cycles (upsell and cross sell) with customers that are running large scale, global, competitively sourced, compliance-heavy, use case-specific businesses. This role is cross functional dependent, and your success will depend on building deep partnerships across product management, finance, support, and operations. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Work closely with Twilio executives, compliance, go to market and product marketing to build and implement ISV strategies to increase Twilio’s market share and brand awareness. Manage and expand some of our most important customer accounts, including financial services, high growth technology, logistics, and fintech companies. Develop, drive, and execute account strategy to consistently deliver strong revenue through upsell and cross sell, gross margin, and gross profit results. Master creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms and managing the contract process. Able to balance challenging priorities and handle multiple projects/deals. Develop and execute on a comprehensive territory plan. Engage in consultative sales cycles with a focus on deep discovery, listening to customer needs and being an effective champion for their point of view in the organization Accurately forecast your opportunities, consistently achieve goals and maintain up to date and accurate data within CRM. Required: 8+ years of proven quota success in a sales/ISV sales role. Deep knowledge of of India market Successful track record of personally selling and closing solutions to software companies, telcos, system integrators or resellers Technically savvy and good understanding of SaaS solutions Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent and predictable basis Strong experience identifying, mapping and prospecting key prospects Ability to drive the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects and handling deals to closure Excellent presentation and negotiation skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build strong relationships with decision makers and C-level Executives Desired: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Telco/CPaaS experience is highly desirable Experience selling SaaS/CPaaS/Telco solution selling to a technical and business audience An understanding of the cloud computing/communications business model Location This role will be Remote, based in Singapore Travel We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 30% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
