This position is needed to help the Comms Engineering team build and maintain the communications platform, used by thousands of customers worldwide to communicate through various channels. A successful candidate is passionate about designing, developing, deploying and operating software solutions at scale, a self-starter, embodying a growth mindset, and wants to help Twilio deliver the best user experience for next-generation communications. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software Work with a small and collaborative team, whiteboarding ideas, building backend services and APIs Perform thorough and thoughtful code reviews to help maintain a high standard of code quality Support production operations, building, releasing and assisting with team on-call Craft clear and concise documentation Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferable in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Experience with Go or Java Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation Desired: Experience using NoSQL databases like DynamoDB Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Polyglot developer with the ability to work across multiple programming languages and frameworks as needed.
