Job Title: IB English Tutor
Location: Remote / Work from Home
Working Days: Tuesday to Sunday
Timings: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (IST)
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate IB English Tutor to support students in developing strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the IB English curriculum and capable of guiding students in literary analysis, essay writing, and exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging online classes for IB English (Language & Literature / Literature – SL & HL)
- Guide students in textual analysis, essay structuring, and critical thinking
- Support students with Internal Assessments (IO/HL Essay) and exam preparation
- Provide detailed feedback on essays and assignments
- Develop lesson plans, study resources, and practice materials
- Track and report student progress regularly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Literature, or related field
- Prior experience teaching IB English curriculum preferred
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Excellent essay writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms
- Ability to engage and mentor international students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching IB students across different regions
- Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and rubrics
