We are currently seeking: Project Manager – Electronic Security & Low Voltage
Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of electronic security and low voltage projects from initiation through closeout. This role oversees all aspects of project performance including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction, while coordinating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electronic security and low voltage projects simultaneously, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, perimeter security, structured cabling, and related systems
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with engineering, field operations, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Lead project kickoff meetings, progress updates, and closeout reviews
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and proper execution
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project financials including cost tracking, billing, and profitability
- Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues
- Support field teams and Superintendents to ensure efficient installation and commissioning
Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of project management experience in electronic security, low voltage, or related construction/technology fields
- Strong knowledge of systems such as access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and structured cabling
- Experience managing commercial or industrial projects from start to finish
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of project financials, including budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-security or critical infrastructure environments (e.g., data centers, utilities, government facilities)
- Industry certifications such as PMP, PSP, or manufacturer certifications (Lenel, Genetec, etc.)
