About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Lead Engineering Manager to join our small but exceptionally talented team of physicists and machine learning engineers from top institutions around the world. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our technology roadmap and leading the development of innovative solutions that directly serve high-impact stakeholders such as REITs and Private Equity (PE) firms.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team
2. Drive the execution of complex technical projects from ideation through delivery
3. Collaborate closely with data scientists and domain experts to integrate machine learning models into production systems
4. Translate stakeholder needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions
5. Own architectural decisions, code quality, and system reliability
6. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

1. 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
2. Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a startup or fast-paced environment
3. Strong technical background in backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and/or data-intensive applications
4. Experience working with AI/ML-based platforms or teams
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to align business and technical goals
   

Bonus Points For:

1. Experience working with or building solutions for financial services, REITs, or private equity firms
2. Familiarity with Python, Go, or modern fullstack development frameworks
3. Exposure to real-time analytics, data lakes, or geospatial data systems
