About the role

Purpose of the RoleThe HR Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, implementation, and optimization of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) within an organization. Generate and analyze HR-related reports (e.g., workforce analytics, turnover rates, compensation data) to support decision-making. Manage relationships with third-party vendors who provide HR system solutions and ensure effective contract management and service delivery. Ensure HR systems comply with relevant data privacy laws and security standards. Provide training and support to HR staff and other system users on how to effectively use HR systems.Job ResponsibilityHR Systems Strategy & Management: Lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, Talent Management Systems, Payroll Systems) to support organizational objectives. Act as a subject matter expert on HR systems, ensuring that the systems effectively meet the business's current and future HR needs. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of HR systems, from selecting the right platforms to driving post-implementation optimization and upgrades. Oversee the integration of various HR technology platforms (recruitment, performance management, learning management, compensation) into a cohesive ecosystem.System Implementation and Optimization: Lead the setup and upgrade of HR systems to meet business goals. Manage testing, deployment, and work with HR, IT, and vendors. Evaluate current systems, find improvements, and propose solutions. Oversee training and documentation for effective system use.HR Data Management & Reporting: Ensure HR data is accurate, secure, and well-managed. Create reports and dashboards for leadership with key insights on HR performance. Perform audits and fix data issues to ensure compliance.Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work with HR, business leaders, IT, and vendors to align HR systems with company goals. Be the main point of contact for resolving issues and ensuring good communication. Support HR teams in using systems effectively and following best practices.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage vendor relationships, including contracts and performance. Evaluate new HR technologies and negotiate terms for optimal value.HR Process Improvement: Optimize HR processes through technology to improve efficiency and reduce manual work. Collaborate with HR and IT to implement automation, and stay updated on HR tech trends.Compliance & Security: Ensure HR systems comply with legal standards, implement security protocols, and manage access controls to protect employee data and maintain compliance.User Support and Training: Support HR system users with troubleshooting and queries. Lead training programs, ensuring proficiency, and create user guides for effective navigation
