Company Description KNK Ship Management is a leading marine service provider in India and an RPSL license holder approved by the Directorate General of Shipping. The company manages manning and technical operations for a significant fleet of tugs and dredging vessels serving major ports across India.
KNK Ship Management also provides worldwide delivery services, port and terminal operations, offshore support, and emergency towing and salvage services along the Indian coast. The organization operates an in-house Azimuth Stern Drive training simulator and a DG Shipping approved Maritime Training Institute. Through its training initiatives, KNK Ship Management supports the “Make in India” vision by developing skilled Indian seafarers for domestic and international shipping.
Role Description Knk Ship Management is currently looking for a training Instructor for the 360 degree Tug Simulator which is one of a kind and was the first one to be installed at KNK Ship Management in India. We are currently looking for a suitable candidate who can learn and deliver training to the aspiring Crew and Officers at our head office at DN Nagar Andheri West Mumbai 400053. The suitable candidate should have some experience with a classroom training delivery and also will be responsible to research and develop safety videos and manuals which can be taught to the candidates.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with trainees and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Training and Teaching skills to design, deliver, and evaluate structured learning programs.
- Relevant maritime or marine operations experience, preferably in tug, dredging, offshore, or port services.
- Formal maritime qualifications or certifications recognized by DG Shipping; instructor or assessor certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to use training simulators and digital learning tools; proficiency with basic computer applications.
