Student Assistant - Employer Relations - Summer 2025

Student Assistant – Tufts Career Center Employer Relations We are seeking students that can work 15 hours per week starting June 5th and ending mid-August. The Career Center is open Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm and work will be fully remote during the summer. The Tufts Career Center located in Dowling Hall, Suite 740 is focused on supporting students in their career exploration throughout their 4 years at Tufts. We serve both undergraduate and graduate students across the Schools of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. The employer relations team works to build relationships with employers to provide internships, co-ops, as well as full-time jobs after graduation from Tufts. In addition, this team organizes two large career fairs, one virtual career fair, on-campus & virtual interviews, several networking nights throughout the year as well as up to 100 events both virtually and in-person with employers. This role will be an integral part of the employer relations team and will work with the Associate Director, Assistant Director, and Recruiting Coordinator on various projects and assisting with the following tasks. Assist with Handshake duties such as approving jobs, creating and approving events in Handshake, creating downloads and spreadsheets from Handshake information, and assisting with the creation of collections. Assist with pulling lists of employer contacts from Handshake, websites, and other sources for employer outreach in addition to assisting with clean-up effort of our CRM database. Follow-up on bounce back emails and replace with new contact names and information. Create blogs, website content, resources, and marketing materials that support the employer community connected with Tufts. Other duties as assigned based on need by the employer relations team
