Description

Technical Systems Integration (TSI), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking an experienced Engineer to provide broad engineering support across Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and technical documentation efforts for critical naval warfare systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division. This position plays a vital role in developing and maintaining engineering products that support mine warfare equipment, amphibious warfare systems, unmanned vehicles, and special operations equipment throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring systems engineering expertise, along with strong technical documentation capabilities.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Develop, review, and update ILS products, including Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD), Periodic Maintenance Requirements Manuals (PMRM), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).

-Perform engineering analysis on logistics products, including Facilities Requirements Documents (FRD), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD).

-Support Unique Identification (UID) Implementation Plans and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plans.

-Assist in development and revision of technical publications and engineering drawings in accordance with MIL-STD-31000B, MIL-STD-100G, MIL-DTL-24784D, and ASME specifications.

-Support creation and maintenance of Naval Warfare Publications (NWPs), OPNAV/NAVSEA handbooks and instructions, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, and Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM).

-Contribute to engineering drawings, NAVSEA standard drawings, S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), training curriculum, and technical reports.

-Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate naval warfare systems and support equipment.

-Support system integration, quality assurance testing, and configuration management activities for complex naval systems.

-Participate in program reviews, ILS Management Team meetings, Configuration Control Boards, and Design Reviews.

-Draft presentation packages, meeting minutes, action items, and trip reports to document engineering activities and decisions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:

-Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or any engineering discipline


Required Experience:

-3+ years of professional experience in engineering


Required Skills & Certifications:

-Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification

-Ability to develop and review complex technical documentation and engineering products

-Proficiency in applying engineering principles to logistics support and systems integration

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical assessments

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder coordination

-Capability to work independently while meeting deliverable schedules and quality standards
