Overview:
The purpose of this job is to prepare accurate and complete loan, security, and compliance documents and related correspondence for commercial real estate, agribusiness, SBA and other complex/specialized commercial loans in accordance with the application, legal and compliance requirements, and bank policy and procedures. This job requires the ability to proficiently prepare documents for one or more market areas.
Responsibilities:
- Examine and interpret loan applications and other source documents for completeness and accuracy of data essential for appropriate categorization of loan transaction and document preparation
- Identify missing or incomplete information necessary to prepare loan and request needed information from lender
- Utilize image system and/or the collateral folder to obtain additional information needed in loan preparation
- Prepare loan, security, and compliance documents and related correspondence within established time frames based on application and supporting source documents by utilizing the Laser Pro automated document preparation system and Word and Excel applications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Commercial Document Preparation Specialist I
Commercial Document Preparation Specialist II
- High School/GED and 6 years job related experience- OR -
- Junior college/two-year college training and 4 years job related experience
Knowledge of commercial real estate collateral, security, and lien perfection requirements (4 Yrs)
Knowledge of loan compliance regulations (4 Yrs)
Knowledge of agribusiness loan documentation requirements
Knowledge of SBA Low Doc and Express loan documentation requirements preferred
Effective analytical skills
Time management principles to prioritize workload
Ability to comprehend/articulate/communicate loan documentation requirements effectively
Ability to relate well with others
Data Entry test with minimum score of 6000 strokes with less than 10% error rate
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds in order to process boxed or bagged coins.
