As Capitalmind Asset Management Private Limited, we manage the Capitalmind Mutual fund and have been seeded with capital from it's parent and sponsor, Capitalmind Financial Services Private Limited.
The trusteeship of the mutual fund is provided by Capitalmind Trustee Private Limited.
Capitalmind Trustee Private Limited is looking for a dedicated Trustee Officer to oversee compliance, regulatory reporting, and secretarial functions to support our ongoing operations.
Position Overview

- Reports To: Board of Directors (Trustee Company)
Key Responsibilities:
Trustee Support & Compliance Monitoring
- Assist Trustees in all aspects of monitoring business activities and ensuring strict compliance with scheme offer documents.
- Ensure all directions issued by the Trustees are implemented in a timely manner, including adherence to SEBI and AMFI circulars and relevant Mutual Fund guidelines.
- Monitor compliance-related policies and conduct internal training sessions on various compliance frameworks.
- Coordinate and support ongoing regulatory compliances with statutory bodies including SEBI and RBI; liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
Reporting & Escalations
- Prepare all Compliance Reports as required under SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 and the Master Circular for Mutual Funds.
- Ensure all necessary regulatory and ad-hoc reporting is submitted to the Trustees in time for reviews and necessary approvals.
- Liaise with Trustees on a regular basis regarding operational matters, compliance updates, and necessary escalations.
Secretarial & Governance Operations
- Organize, prepare, and maintain documentation for meetings of the Board, members, and various Trustee committees.
- Draft agendas, notices, and detailed minutes for Committees, Board, and General Meetings.
- Coordinate effectively with external counsels and legal/compliance consultants.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional Background: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) is highly preferred. A graduation degree in Finance or Law is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, compliance, or secretarial functions within the financial services industry. 5+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry is mandatory.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Practical, working knowledge of SEBI regulations, FEMA, and RBI guidelines.
- Core Skills:
- Highly skilled in meticulous drafting and legal/compliance document review.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.
