Requirements

 How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a vital part of our clinical team, you aren't just checking vitals—you are a caregiver and an educator. Your day will include:

  • Clinical Care: Administering immunizations, providing treatments, and assisting providers with examinations.
  • Patient Connection: Greeting families, prepping little ones for their visits, and providing much-needed education and reassurance to parents.
  • Coordination: Ensuring medical records are meticulously updated and managing referrals to ensure our patients get the specialized care they need.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment in our exam rooms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience (Pediatric experience is a major plus!).
  • Licensure: A current Commonwealth of Virginia Nursing License.
  • Credentials: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and active CPR certification.
  • The "Right Fit": Someone who stays calm in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and maintains the highest standards of patient confidentiality. 

 Clinical Expertise & Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: You are competent in operating medical equipment and instruments to provide top-tier patient care.
  • Clinical Judgment: You are skilled in applying and modifying the principles and techniques of professional nursing to meet each patient’s unique needs.
  • Safety & Standards: You have the knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment and the ability to strictly uphold quality control standards.

  • Grace Under Pressure: You have a proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Adaptability: You can easily interpret, adapt, and apply office guidelines and procedures as clinical needs evolve.
  • Communication & Ethics: You communicate clearly and work effectively with co-workers, all while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality for our patients' clinical information.
