Temporary Door Attendant
Position Profile:
The Door Attendant is the first and last impression of Trump International Hotel & Tower New York for residents. The Door Attendant is responsible for creating an unparalleled arrival and departure experience.
Position Responsibilities
- Greet residents in a friendly and courteous manner upon arrival and departure.
- Ability to open vehicle and hotel doors and assist residents exiting from vehicles and entering into vehicles.
- Unload (or load) luggage.
- Direct delivery persons to the appropriate areas for drop off.
- Handle all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
- Ensure the smooth flow of all traffic in and out of the drive
- Assist residents with limousines and taxis.
- Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation.
- Must have the ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- Attend all scheduled shifts, including shift work and weekend work in accordance with the schedules.
Position Requirements
- Must have a passion for delivering outstanding luxury service.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift in hot weather, inclement or very cold weather.
- Ability to maintain position for extended amounts of time in order to greet residents, offer assistance, and open doors in the lobby area.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull bell carts up to 200 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a luxury environment
Rate: $31.95 - $42.60
