Inside Sales Representative

Trumbull Industries, Inc., is a full-line distributor of plumbing products. The main purpose of this position is to provide professional Inside Sales/Customer Service support to all customers to meet or exceed their expectations. This role includes ensuring order accuracy and

developing strong and lasting relationships. Kitchen sales / design experience beneficial.

Job Duties:

• Assist customers with inquiries regarding products and prices in a prompt friendly and accurate manner.
• Enter orders on the order entry, returns and issue credits
• Monitor purchase orders to check on status and back orders.
• Coordinate sales between customers or purchasing departments and coordinate shipping dates.
• Resolve customer problems; forward those issues to an appropriate buyer or supervisor.
• Provide technical sales information and vendor information to customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to complete an order in an expedient and efficient fashion. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Qualifications:

• Inside Sales/Customer Service experience preferably in Kitchen/Bath/Plumbing products. 
• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
• PC proficiency using ERP and proprietary automated computer applications is desired. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills 
• Good follow up skills and persistence 
• Excellent phone presence 
• Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately 
• Sense of urgency and decisiveness as appropriate 
• Reacts well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments 
• Fast and accurate data entry skills.
