Join our dynamic IT Support team as a student and play an essential role in ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery on campus. You'll handle Tier 1 support requests, addressing queries with a proactive and user-focused mindset while maintaining adaptability in a fast-paced environment. This role enables you to work in a collaborative environment, assisting with preparations for key events or key company-wide activities.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Assist with managing the IT service desk portal, and Slack requests
• Provide initial troubleshooting and support for both Windows and Mac devices, referring more complex issues to higher-tier specialists
• Deliver empathic and efficient support to users, fostering a supportive and positive experience
• Collaborate with the IT Support team to optimize processes, contribute fresh insights, and share innovative ideas
• Follow established protocols and procedures, ensuring consistent and reliable support services
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities, staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in IT support
  
  
  

What you'll need to thrive:

• Current enrolment in an IT-related program at an accredited German university
• Availability to work from trivago Campus from Tuesdays to Thursdays
• Basic understanding of IT concepts, practices, and devices (Windows and Mac)
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with a great service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a team setting
• Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week
• A problem-solving attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow in the field
• Interest and proficiency in AI technologies, including familiarity with models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar, leveraging them for smarter support solutions

• Previous experience in an IT support role or similar
• Relevant certifications in IT support would be advantageous e.g. CompTIA A+, ITIL
