Are you patient, persuasive, and passionate about user experience? Excited about working with diverse stakeholders at trivago? We are looking for a fluent English speaking User Support Operator who will be the first point of contact for users reaching out to trivago. Every month, over 120 million users rely on the trivago website to find their perfect getaway. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be the user's advocate and help build trust in the trivago brand. How you’ll make an impact:


  • Provide top-notch support by answering user requests via Email and Help Center requests using our CRM tool, Zendesk, and our translation tools
  • Explore and understand issues faced by our users, finding solutions by collaborating with different stakeholders within and outside trivago
  • Improve trivago's products by investigating, reporting, and helping to fix issues or bugs reported by users
  • Gather, categorize, and channel user feedback to relevant teams
  • Run and coordinate various initiatives aimed at improving our operations and processes


What you'll need to thrive:


  • Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English, at a minimum of C2 level
  • Sociable and proactive personality, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Solid organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Deep commitment to user experience, with the ability to empathize and genuinely understand the user's perspective
  • Persuasiveness to transform negative experiences into positive ones by providing user-centric support


Stand out with:


  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, particularly in written communication
  • Proficiency in any additional written language relevant to trivago's key markets
  • Basic understanding of localization
