Triple Whale is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to teams across Triple Whale, turning complex data into clarity and action.
You'll dive into our vast data ecosystem to uncover meaningful insights, shaping the way we understand our users and drive product and business growth. By translating business challenges into data opportunities, you'll develop the metrics, pipelines, and reporting tools that fuel informed decisions and scalable impact.
Responsibilities:
Create, refine, and sustain high-impact datasets that power decision-making across the business
Optimize queries and streamline data processes to reduce infrastructure costs and improve efficiency
Identify untapped analytical opportunities that drive measurable revenue growth for our clients
Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to align analytics priorities with broader business objectives
Work hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to shape new products, define data requirements, and bring product visions to life
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in data & analytics (relevant industry experience preferred)
Skilled in advanced data transformation using SQL and Excel; able to join and manipulate large, normalized datasets from multiple sources to create meaningful outputs
Proficient with business intelligence tools to democratize data access across teams
Experienced in leveraging scripting languages such as Python and R for in-depth analysis of large-scale datasets
Adept at writing efficient, well-structured queries to detect anomalies and uncover shifts in business performance
Confident in analyzing and reporting on digital marketing A/B test outcomes
Able to distill complex, abstract concepts into simplified, actionable insights
Experienced in managing urgent, ad-hoc requests while maintaining focus on long-term data initiatives
Solid understanding of foundational statistics and their application in business analysis
