Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Trip Leader based in Chennai. The Trip Leader will guide and manage tour groups, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for participants. Responsibilities include coordinating daily itineraries, leading recreational and cultural activities, and managing group dynamics. The role also involves providing relevant information about destinations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and handling any challenges that arise during trips. While the role is based in Chennai, some administrative work can be done remotely from home.
Qualifications
- Recreation skills, including familiarity with outdoor and therapeutic recreation activities
- Strong Supervisory Skills and an ability to manage group dynamics
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with participants and team members
- Ability to ensure safety and well-being of participants, especially in outdoor settings
- Flexibility to work in both outdoor and remote environments
- Proficiency in Tamil and English is preferred
- Experience in travel, tourism management, or related fields is a plus
- Enthusiasm for adventure and cultural engagement
